OLYMPIC FUN!
We want WGC to celebrate the 2024 Paris Olympics with fun!!!
We have some great activities lined up that will be taking place in both gyms throughout the gymnastics schedule. We would like you to to show your support for team GB or the country of your choice by bringing in flags and pictures.
We have a theme for each day and would love you all to take part. Each day/session the winner will get a prize goody bag!!!
You can dress up, face paint, put tattoos on or even dye your hair!!!
We want you to design your own Olympic poster. As big and as bright as you can. All posters will be displayed in the gyms. There will be a winner announced from each of our gyms. The prize will be a coaching and QA session with our very own double Olympian Hannah Whelan. Poster entries will need to be in no later than Monday 29th July.

Ask an Olympian!
Have you ever wondered what it would be like to compete at the Olympics or what it takes to get you there?
We are very lucky at WGC to have our very own double Olympian, Hannah Whelan at the club.
Our assistant Head Coach Hannah competed at the 2008 and 2012 Summer Olympics, and also won three European Championship medals – two bronze in 2012 (balance beam and floor) and a silver (team) in 2014.​
Hannah is a four-time British senior Champion specialising on the balance beam and floor exercise, although competing all-around as well, and rounded off a sterling career with a team gold and individual bronze in the all-around final of the 2014 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow.
